Give your F-91W a NATO strap
A different feel for a familiar watch.
Check first: The adapters change how the watch sits on your wrist. A matching width alone does not guarantee that another adapter will fit.

| Watch & upgrade | Work involved | Check first |
|---|---|---|
| F-91WGive your F-91W a NATO strap | External only | The adapters change how the watch sits on your wrist. A matching width alone does not guarantee that another adapter will fit. |
| F-91WTry leather on the gunmetal F-91W | External only | The Vario straps were supplied to me. The successful fit applies to the straps shown, not every quick-release leather strap. |
| F-94WSpread the Bumblebee's backlight | Open the case | This involves the LCD and its delicate connector. It is a more demanding job than a strap change. Opening the case does not preserve a certified water-resistance rating. |
| AE-1200What went wrong with my Royale metal cases | Open the case | Case purchase paused. The recorded route covers both the earlier leaking case and a replacement. A brushed finish alone does not identify the replacement. Do not order an unidentified variant. |
| MDV-106Match the Duro with a Marlin bracelet | External only | Bracelet sizing used push-out pins. The lens work in the same video bent a component and required rework. It is not part of this external-only recommendation. |

A softer strap with a dressier look.

A small part. A much bigger job.

Check the case, not just the finish.

Change the bracelet. Leave the lens alone.

Pull the strap build apart to see what connects to what. Then use the actual build notes to check the fit.
Connection sketch. Not to scale or an installation sequence.
The adapters in my build bridge the F-91W’s 18mm lugs to a 20mm strap. Width alone does not prove that another adapter will fit.
The watch case stays closed for this mod. The illustration simplifies the geometry and pin positions.
A wider strap can add bulk. A nicer case can leak. I’ve kept those details beside the parts so you can decide whether a mod is actually right for you.
