A minimal-data site by default
Best Digital Watches has no visitor accounts, contact forms, personalised advertising or cross-site advertising trackers.
The watch finder
Your answers are matched to watches in your browser. We record the choices, the three watches shown and which results get opened or shopped. A random result ID links those actions for that quiz. It stays in the page and is not a lasting visitor ID. We do not ask for your name or build a personal profile.
Hosting and site analytics
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures traffic and speed without analytics cookies. We also use Google Analytics 4 through Cloudflare Zaraz to understand visits. Google Analytics may use cookies or browser identifiers to measure visits. These tools can process page, device and referral information.
Our own reporting records page views, broad traffic sources, screen-size groups, quiz results and shopping-link clicks. It does not use tracking cookies or store names, emails, IP addresses, search text or full referring and shopping URLs. These event records are kept for up to 180 days, with daily cleanup, and are visible only through an owner-protected dashboard.
Shopping links do not give us your payment details. A click alone cannot tell us whether someone bought a watch.
Information collected here
Best Digital Watches does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, payment details or other information that directly identifies visitors. It does not set first-party marketing cookies.
Your choices
Our own reporting respects your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Browser privacy tools may also block analytics. This does not stop you using the finder or shopping links. These signals apply to our custom events, not existing Google Analytics, Cloudflare security logs or another site you visit. An owner can save a preference in their browser to exclude their own visits and tests.
External destinations
Shopping, YouTube and WatchCrunch links lead to services with their own privacy practices. Affiliate destinations may record referral information needed to attribute a purchase. See Google's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy for their practices.
